Oct. 20-26 is National Teen Driver Safety Week – the perfect time for parents and teens to have meaningful discussions about safe driving and learn how to stay safe on our roads.
Many parents still do not realize car crashes kill more teens than suicide and homicide combined. Safe driving truly starts with parents. Riding with teens, learning what skills are most important to practice and understanding state laws and regulations are just some of the things parents can do to help their teens become safe drivers. Throughout the week, we’ll be addressing various teen driving issues and sharing materials, including a list of the top 10 things many parents don’t know about teen driving.
Be sure to check in all week, then get in the passenger’s seat and apply what you’ve learned.
